 Shirley You Must Be Kidding

Geese drinking wine and the beginning has begun.

I am working too hard folks.

I am trying to figure out the subtleties of the forum programme that I am using – it seems to not be working. I just can't seem to make the friggin' thing work.

The new website is what it is.

I have done more than I thought I could ever do.

I set up a front page – even though it is all full of construction warnings. I set up links to my blog and forum. I still can't figure out how to get a blog in there because I am preoccupied with how my forum works and how to set that up properly.

This doesn't even begin to encoumpus the podcast or free streaming audio that I wanted to put out.

I am getting about 5 hours a week to work on this project until the New Year hits. I want to dedicate so much more to this, but I am not able to due to my over the top work schedule.

In my “free” time I am trying my best.

I still have no logo for the page, I still have no amazing fan base.

MY stickers are being shipped to the wrong address and, even though they are shipping back to me, it is typical of this project.

I am still working my midnight magic.

I know that some of you may be able to relate.

Feel my pain and make me rock on.

Godspeed ...

 Diminished Return

So here we are ... the tenth.

I guess the contest really isn't over yet, I mean I will still take submissions until midnight but after that point the prize money is out of the question.

No serious entries.

Can you believe it?

I guess deep down in that peach pit of a stomach I knew, I believe it.

Cest la vie.

You have til midnight.

I am still working on the page.

I need help with CSS and Javascript.

Also, advice on how to import the radio show, start the blog for the site, and how to set up a discussion forum.

Did I mention the contest and the fifty bucks?

Godspeed ...

Rebellion Really Does Love A Tea Party With Pleasant Little Biscuits

I am feeling a little angry today and longing for my youthful days of delusion and solitide.

I'm remember being able to hide deep in a pair of headphones and be taken away to a land where only lyrics and image mattered, a land where a leather jacket and a little bit of anger got you further on down the road than any sort of investment fund or well placed real estate monies.

To scream louder and louder up at the ceiling with the foam cushions pressed against my ears.

A release that only made sense to those who were young enough to find time to do it and now, with my railing years nipping at my nose and heels, do I see how glorious, how filled with the ultimate freedom, those moments really were.

The most primeval of sounds and lyrical images could create your alter ego in a comic world of dark depression and riddled with an unrealistic proportion of protagonists and antagonists. Heroes and villians taking the time to put their chain wallets in place long enough to attack their sworn enemies and make the world a better place for their cause.

We all, ALL, have our cause and fight for it every damn day in some sort of subliminal way.

We just don't fight hard enough for the causes that will effect us all and change the world – only our worlds.

The men who sang these songs fought hard and dirty everyday for the knowledge of knowing they were changing the world for better or worse.

Something about tone and hormones and frustration.

Something about wanting to just friggin' belong.

How easy we forget that as we do belong – we assimilate into the cogs and sprockets known as the failed American economy.

Four songs to make you rebel and vomit all at the same time.

Don your leather.

Make your hawk non-faux.

God, the kids today think they are rebelling with materialism – the ultimate sin.

Rebel yell?

Hello!?! We Are Talking About Fifty Bucks!

So I received a few entries but not quite what I was looking for. What I find disturbing is that even when I offer cold hard cash, still no one wants to participate!

Well, it is taking me a bit to get down all of the HTML that I can use and now I am moving onto CSS and Javascript. I am still looking for a professional way of bringing the podcast to the website beyond a simple RSS feed. Also, bringing music to the site – music without a graphic shown on the page but rather just background music for my readers and visitors to listen to while browsing. Also having a simple window of text for my blog and I can't even imagine how to set up a discussion forum.

It is all so far ahead of where I am after having just 'mastered' HTML. If you go to the website you will see that I have a cool title, a nice band divider, a brief message, a graphic to click to send me an e-mail and a nice little stat counter programme.

Here is the link again:

http://loosemovement.com/

The contest is up til the 10th. PLEASE spread the word!

I NEED HELP WITH THIS!

I KNOW a lot of folks on here know how to do all of the things that I need to learn. I am not asking for people to do it for me but rather some suggestions and references that will put me in the right direction.

I guess it will just take me a whole hell of a lot of time to do it instead of it being done in a reasonable time frame.

The stickers will be here soon.

I still have no one asking me for them.

SUCH A JOKE!

Sometimes I wonder why I try to do anything!

I still will because, at the very least, it is a big personal joke for me, on me, at me.

Maybe someone will come along for the laugh.

Be good and smile.

Godspeed ...

Here Ye, Here Ye! It's A Contest Folks!

So, here I am trying to get this website up and running and I find myself searching for art, website design ideas, images, themes, linear images that connect concepts, and the rest of the symbolism needed to start a good movement ... a loose movement.

As I mentioned in my previous post -  the website is , and it's title is, of dual meaning - a dual purpose. On one hand, we have the concept of creating knowledge and change with entertainment and information in order to provide the listener and the reader with the 'skills to pay the bills' so to speak – everything needed to stay cutting edge and informed in this day and age of ever persisting turmoil and expected revolt. On the other hand we have a medical term for diarrhea, overly-soft stool, a bowel movement that is loose, stinking sloppy bullshit.

It may be offensive, it may be fun; at the very least you all have to think it to be down right friggin' creative. If you do not, then maybe the site (and it's contents) are simply not for you. Either way, I am going forth with it and I think that between the catchy name and the content I just could be making a change or mark in, and on, modern society.

So here is what I propose: A Contest!

YAY!

Everyone just loves contests!

I need an image to represent my site, my movement, my mark. I need a logo, if you will.

I may be a lot of things on this here mortal coil but an artist is one thing that I am not.

I am going to place some images here that are some of the MANY inspirations for this website and in the presentation of what these images may conjour up I hope to create a new image or symbol that will define in picture what I represent.

There is even a prize! To whomever comes up with the best image that I choose, you will get a fifty dollar gift card to the establishment of your choosing, plus you get design credit on my webpage.

Yep, that's right, fifty bucks!

FIFTY CLAMS, MUCHO DINIERO, MANY MANY CENTABOS!

Ok. Here are the images:

The other thing to keep in mind would be the idea behind the site; I want to combine Alex Jones and George Nory/Art Bell, Rush Limbaugh and Howard Stern, Larry Flint and Dr. Laura and meld it into one big show. Podcasts three days a week to start, plus a possible sports show on Saturday and a music programme on Sunday mornings – lots of Zappa and jazz and blues. The boiling point, the common denominator, is free speech and liberty and freedom. A cauldron of revolution boiling into a froth of freedom as gazed upon by the wise.

With all of this in mind, I hope that all submissions are appropriate to the cause, not necessarily appropriate to all!

ALL WORK MUST BE ORIGINAL!

The contest will run through October 10th, which provides an almost two week window. I am under a time constraint to get my site up and running and would prefer entries as soon as possible so I can proceed.

Please submit your art with a web address to either socalwriter4321@aol.com or to r.e.knowltoniii@loosemovement.com. I will then choose a winner and ask for an appropriate mailing address for the gift card – including a query regarding the establishment for the cards validity.

Any questions can be submitted via e-mail or by voice mail at 949 855 8618.

Good luck to all that attempt to help and win the moohlah.

I hope that I receive at least a few entries.

PLEASE spread the word!

I NEED HELP!

Be good and smile.

Godspeed ...
